How FitGo collects, uses, and protects your fitness and nutrition data
2025/03/19
FitGo respects and protects the privacy of every user of our service. To provide you with more accurate, personalized nutrition and fitness recommendations, FitGo collects, uses, and discloses your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We handle your information with the utmost care and diligence. Except as set out below, FitGo will not disclose or share your information with any third party without your prior consent. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. By using FitGo, you are deemed to have agreed to this Privacy Policy in full. This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the FitGo Service Agreement.
a) The personal information you provide while using FitGo is used to estimate your daily energy expenditure and body measurements, so that we can recommend an appropriate daily intake and provide more accurate measurement results. Such personal information includes, but is not limited to, birthday, height, gender, weight, activity level, and other body-related data. We confirm that this information will not be used for any other purpose, and we always keep the data we collect to the minimum necessary.
b) You do not need to register an account to use FitGo. Your personal privacy data is stored on your mobile phone, and we do not save your personal privacy data on any server. If you wish to remove all of your personal privacy data, simply delete the FitGo app from your phone.
a) FitGo will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information with any unrelated third party, unless we have obtained your prior consent, or unless the third party is jointly providing a service to you with FitGo (including FitGo affiliates). After such service ends, that party will be blocked from any further access to information it was previously able to access.
b) FitGo does not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell, or distribute your personal information by any means. If any FitGo user engages in such conduct, FitGo reserves the right to terminate the service agreement with that user immediately upon discovery.
c) Without your consent, FitGo will not share your personal diet data with any third party. Personal diet data is stored only on your phone. If you need to clear this data, simply delete the FitGo app.
a) FitGo can connect to Bluetooth devices, such as smart food scales, to make it easier to record the weight of food. We will not obtain any other personal information unrelated to FitGo through Bluetooth.
b) FitGo needs to use Bluetooth to connect to devices. On some Android phones, using Bluetooth requires location services to be turned on, because those phones tie the Bluetooth switch to location services. In order to give you a smoother and faster experience, we ask Android users to enable location services for the FitGo app. We guarantee that your location data will not be used for any other purpose.
With your authorization, the measurement and calculation results produced by FitGo can be synced and shared with the Apple Health app. We only display this data within FitGo so that it is easier for you to save and manage your personal diet data and body measurement data over the long term. We will not store your personal data on any server other than your own phone.
We will not be liable in the following situations:
a) Your personal information is leaked because your mobile phone is attacked by hackers or viruses.
b) After you delete the FitGo app, your personal information is leaked due to vulnerabilities in your phone's operating system itself.
